Mark Smith set up Smith Creative in 2000 offering a full interior design service from planning, structural and architectural drawings to furnishings and works of art.

Emphasis is on enhancing the architectural qualities of the building, sympathetically extending when required and modernising the services of the building to fit with the client’s brief.

Never wanting to restrict himself to ‘one look’, Mark takes an open-minded approach to each new project – the recurring theme becomes the use of light and space and quality of workmanship together with an eclectic mix of modern and antique furnishings.

Wide ranging projects have included a listed Merchant’s house in Hoxton, a houseboat on Chelsea Embankment, a Cotswold stone house in Gloucestershire, family houses and apartments in central London. International projects include apartments in South Beach, Miami and in Manhattan. Commercial projects include showrooms for Smallbone of Devizes.
